Gesso è il luogo di origine dei bisnonni Gaetano Giacoppo e Concetta Scaltrito, che emigrarono a Hammonton, negli Usa a fine ‘800. “Partirono da qui – ha ricordato Jill Biden – alla ricerca di fortuna negli Stati Uniti”.
